Partner with WISER in 2026!

Partner with WISER to help us to achieve two of our priority goals:

  • Positively shape members’ futures with professional development opportunities, mentorship, and support, and

  • Drive gender balance and strong representation for women in leadership positions in our industries.

We have engaged with Women on Boards (WOB) to negotiate a heavily discounted rate for our members to receive premium WOB membership and the opportunity to participate in their programs, including some specifically created for our members. The mission behind our Corporate Partnership Program is to further subsidise this cost so that membership is accessible to every woman in the industry. WISER commits to leaving no woman in the industry behind (particularly in regional areas) and additionally commits to offering Indigenous women up to 10% of the WOB memberships and course places. We are partnering with IWIMRA (Indigenous Women in Mining & Resources Australia) to ensure we meet these targets.

WISER maintains low administrative and operating costs. The committee is comprised of female leaders from industry, government, and higher education, and we have all served as volunteers since WISER launched in late 2023. To support our growth and impact, we appointed Co-Founder and Chair, Joanne Bergamin as a part-time paid CEO. Even with this addition, sponsorship money is predominantly directed into events or professional and board-readiness courses.

We can onboard another 200 women for every $30,000 we raise.

We are proud to announce in 2024-25 we received funding from the Queensland Government Office for Women’s Women in Industry Grant Program, as well as Stanmore Resources Community Grant Program.
